WebXR Viewer: An Experimental AR Viewer for iOS
Mozilla’s WebXR Viewer is an augmented reality (AR) viewer designed for developers to create and test web-based AR applications on iOS. This experimental product allows developers to experiment with web-based AR experiences using the WebXR API and provides a platform for gathering feedback from the WebXR community.
WebXR is a cross-platform Web API for both augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). The WebXR Viewer implements a collection of accepted and proposed WebXR AR API features, as well as some non-standard features developed for an earlier version of the WebXR API.
Version 2 of the WebXR Viewer is based on the Firefox for iOS source code, making it a more robust web browser. While some features, such as account sync, are fully functional, others are still in development. Users are encouraged to report any issues or feature requests on the project's GitHub page.
